The class discusses design principles, why they work and how to use them in relation to papercrafting and art making. It distills design theory into language that creative minds understand and shows the principles in action to further explain each concept.
Additionally, an online classroom environment was set up to bring all of the students to one place. Crafters from around the world came together to talk about and learn more about the design principles. After the live class was completed (all content was released), the book was fine-tuned and released as a self-paced style class.
